A Store Is Born!

Seven months ago, we started working on what would become Maison Mariann. 

Stacy's mom, Mariann, passed away from cancer. Stacy found Mariann's beloved charm bracelet and an idea sparked. (Read more about Our Story.)

In that time, we've built a business plan, met industry partners, selected packaging, designed a website, launched our social media channels, attended jewelry industry conferences, including JCK (one of the jewelry industry's largest and most important international jewelry shows) in Las Vegas in June and Bridge (a smaller conference in Louisiana focusing on business insights, workshops and networking) in October. We were accepted into two business accelerator programs, Alabama Launchpad in Birmingham, Alabama, and Innovation Portal's Tech Academy in Mobile, Alabama.

Oh and also we designed our signature Bubble Collection and curated our Classics and Celebrate Nature collections, too! 

To say this has been a whirlwind is an understatement. And there are a lot of to-dos left off of the above list! (And lots of to-dos left.) Were there times when one or both of us had doubts or wanted to give up? Yes. Did we cheerlead one another and otherwise push through? Also yes. Do we both need chocolate and a drink? Definitely yes! (Melanie here: OK, I no longer drink, but you get the picture.) 

But, the time has come to launch our bouncing baby celebracelet (and ring, earrings, cufflinks and, soon, necklace) and other collections into the world. Today, we celebrate. Well, we actually celebrate every day, because it's sort of our thing, but today, we really celebrate. This is what we call a big win.

We are so thrilled to share with you, Maison Mariann. We hope you love it as much as we do.
